| 10/15/2005: "Vandal Scandal - The Last & Final Chapter" |
| You know this story started out pretty interesting. If you have no idea what in the hell I'm talking about - check back in the archives. Or you could do the whole Pulp Fiction thing and read the end of the story first. But whatever. You need to understand though, that like most sequels, the Vandal Scandal has become less and less gripping with each installment - this final chapter just isn't very damned interesting at all... |
So why would it not be interesting? Well primarily because as a society we don't give much of a shit about hearing about something going right. Give us some disaster news or some freaky ass crime - that's what we want to hear about. Something that is absolutely going as wrong as wrong can get. Don't we? Well be that as it may, I feel obligated to close the case on this bitch. So here goes.
After all my pissing and moaning at the beginning of this automotive saga, ladies and gentlemen, we have a happy ending. I'm going to drive the Vandal off into the sunset. Not really. I'm actually going to drive down to a mechanic and fill my tires with nitrogen instead because gas is TOO DAMNED EXPENSIVE. Highly fuel efficient, the Vandal is not. But I digress. The guy I originally thought was a douche has sent me a check to cover repairs for my vehicle in full. That's right, I don't have to pay a single fucking cent. How's that for an ending? It sucks balls, right? Now, what if I said the check bounced? Ha! Then it would start to get interesting again. But alas, I think it shall clear the bank with no difficulties. So ends the story. I told you it wasn't very interesting. You're the one that read all the way to the end. Not my fault.
